Methods of test for pulp and paper – Ring crush test
standard by Standards Australia / Standards New Zealand, 01/01/1993
This Standard describes the procedure for measuring the compressive strength of liner board in the direction of the plane of the sheet. This revision of the Standard restricts the scope of the method to boards less than 580 micrometres thick, makes the use of a mechanical feeder mandatory for inserting the test piece into the holder, specifies the orientation of the holder when placed on the platen of the tester and emphasizes the need to avoid handling the test piece with bare hands.
