Description

This specification applies to austenitic stainless steel pipes for the conveyance of milk and processed milk products in dairy factories, and to compressible ring joint fittings for use with such pipes. It prescribes the material and dimensions for pipes and for nuts, tail pieces (liners), male ends, bends, tees, cocks, ring joints, and blank caps. It does not include the type of fitting specifically designed for "in place" cleaning.
